The Free 2010 Chaffee County Fair and Rodeo will be held July 29th - August 1st.  The fair will be featuring Public and 4-H Open Class Exhibits as well as 4-H Small and Large Animal Entries.  As always the Antique Tractor Pull, working Antque Small Engine Exhibition, Horseshoe Pitching, HIdden Coin Saw Dust Pile, Salida Circus, Archery Contest, Ranch Women's Contests, two dances and Sunday morning church service will return. 

 The Rodeo and Equine Events will include a Ranch Rodeo, 2 CPRA Rodeos, Muttin' Bustin & Steer Ridingm Gambler's Choice, Mounted Shooting Event and Cutting Horse Event.

The Chaffee County Fair Board was created at the request of 4-H members and leaders to set rules and regulations regarding the Chaffee County Fair.  The mission on the Fair Board is to organize, conduct, operate and hold a county fair for the promotion of all mechanical, industrial, agricultural, horticultural and livestock products and other products and exhibits. 

The Fair Board consists of 13 members who serve a 3 year term.  These members are appointed by the Chaffee County Commissioners.
