Credit Card Procedures:
Chaffee County currently does not provide credit card capability via our website.  This department does not retain credit card information.  Once the transaction is approved and completed the credit card information is destroyed.  Therefore, DO NOT place any credit card information on your permit application.  Please follow the instructions below when submitting an application when payment is to be made with a credit card:
1)  Submittal of application may be either mail or fax.  Mailing address is P.O. Box 699, Salida, CO 81201.  Fax number is (719) 530-9208.
2)  Submit application together with credit card information on SEPARATE paper.  The paper with the credit card information will be destroyed.  A credit card receipt will be returned with your copy of the permit.
3) Information required: Card Type (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover) Name (As it appears on Card), Card Number, Expiration Date, Billing Address, Phone Number
