Chaffee County Environmental Health is now associated with Chaffee County Public Health.  Environmental Health Manager, Wano Urbonas', offices are now located in the Buena Vista Annex at 112 Linderman Ave. and in Salida at the Touber Building, 448 E. 1st St., Ste. 137.  Mr. Urbonas will be available by appointment by calling 719.207.1498. For further information you may click here.

All regular immunization appointments must be scheduled by calling Immunization Office 719-530-2563 or 719-207-6563. (This does not include COVID-19 vaccinations; please contact 719-539-4510 for COVID vaccine assistance or schedule at CCPH’s call volume is very high so please allow up to 48 hours before receiving a call back. Chaffee County Health Assessment & Improvement Plan 2017- 2023

The 2022-2026 Chaffee County Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) has been finalized. (See the Press Release here.) The CHIP is developed to identify major health concerns, describe community strengths and assets, and identify community challenges and areas of improvement in Chaffee County. Additionally, the goals of this project are to engage community members in local public health decision-making as well as to encourage a diversity of perspectives from across Chaffee County.
