The Chaffee County Heritage Advisory Board ("HAAB") was created to provide advice and assistance on matters associated with planning and implementation of the Heritage Area Program. The HAAB consists of no more than 11 members. All members must be full-time residents of Chaffee County. The first nine members should be selected based on appropriate geographic representation of the County and based on representation of interests in cultural, natural, economic and recreational resources. With respect to the additional two members, one shall be an "at large" member with a one to three year term, as needed at the time of appointment and the second additional member shall be a representative from the ranching community, who lives and owns property along the scenic byway.
