COVID-19 VACCINATIONS
Chaffee County Public Health offers COVID-19 vaccinations for all ages during our regularly scheduled immunization clinics. Clinic hours are:
Mondays - 12 to 4 in Salida **walk in clinic
Tuesdays - 11 to 1 in Salida
Tuesdays - 12 to 4 in Buena Vista **walk in clinic
Thursdays - 2 to 5 in Salida
Fridays - 9 to 12 in Salida

COVID-19 TESTING
Chaffee County Public Health no longer has free rapid COVID-19 tests. However, you can order free COVID-19 tests at: http://covidtests.gov/ Rapid tests are also available for sale at local pharmacies in both Buena Vista and Salida.
COVID-19 TREATMENT AND MEDICATION
COVID-19 treatment is available for individuals who are at high risk to get very sick from COVID-19. Don't delay - treatment must be started within 5-7 days after symptoms begin. For more information, click on the link below.
COVID-19 ISOLATION
The CDC no longer recommends 5 days of isolation for COVID-19 for the general public. Individuals who test positive for COVID are recommended to stay home and isolate while they have symptoms, and may end isolation when their symptoms have improved and they have been fever free for 24 hours without the use of medication. This is how other respiratory illnesses should be treated as well. After that, they may return to work/school and should consider extra precautions like masking and distancing.
